Seeing tragedy, hearing words of motivation and watching something beautiful in nature. oh and soccer because i love soccer. here are some motivational quotes if you want them:
Darkness is not the opposite light, it is the absence of it.
I have something to prove.
If you fail, it's because of me.
I just made those up/ heard them from friends

7 days without soccer makes one weak

I just think of situations I have been in my life like broken hearts.
Or my LOVE for Nicholas Jonas<3

anything that happens in my life,

my parents divorce, my recent breakup with a boyfriend of two years, my granddads death

when im sitting by the pacific ocean (two minutes from my house) i just feel a flood of emotions...lately. nature is so calm and peaceful it just brings out everything in you.

I have a home in colorado as well, and the snow and mountains tend to have the same affect.

a true poet gets inspired easily. Just look at the problems in the world and say your opinion , or look at the beauty .
You don't have to work to be a poet you are born a poet and all you have do is just say what you feel without trying to be something.

it is depression which inspires me

Well wot can i say life expericances when i had a broken heart a shattered heart...........all experiance for me.....then thers sons which inspire me and then people who i like or look up to like my girlfriend she really inspires me i have a phrase in my life which i use when someone breaks up its :

How do people go on breathing after true love ends......

i got it from a song and now thts my phrase

I would go some place
that is quiet
go for a walk at my pace

Think about the things I want to write about
there is alot
there is no doubt

Things you can write on
If you go for jog
just remember
if you have one ( your dog )

Go for a walk
with a friend
to have a talk

If someone is having a birthday
or an anniversary
this is worth a say

At a playground
see the children
on the merry go round
having fun

Anything. Go for a drive, or a walk, or just look out your window. You'll see something that sparks your imagination. A street sign, a cat caught in a tree, a swimming pool with a lonesome rubber duck. You can take a first impression away from anything and come up with a poem. Good luck.

All i do to get inspired is to look around. Its spring, the trees are blossoming, flowers are growing..there is so much beauty in the world right now. Thats all i need.

Poetry is emotive and in my case, akin to the ocean as it ebbs and flows; so when the tide is out i wander across the tidal flats of my imagination and wriggle my toes in the sand and sigh for the forlorn fish that shimmers in it's forgotten pool to be scooped up by the squabbling gulls; food for thought?
