this hate, it consumes me,
darkness surrounds me,
pain, it befriends me,
anger becomes me.

i am the worst in you,
your scariest dreams,
i am your every fear,
i will make you scream.

when you see me,
you will die of fright,
i am the veil of confusion,
the roamer of night.

i stand silently in shadow,
waiting for the clocks midnight toll,
then i will slip into your room,
and devour your soul.

i leave your lifeless body,
and slide out your door,
after knowing that taste,
i must have more...
