Question:SAY MY NAME AND BREAK ME

I am
secrets concealed
in the blackest
corners of
the mind which
gave me birth.

I am
the wisdom of
the ages.
Even fools
are beautiful,
when in me
they rest.

I am
so fragile,
but you've only
to rest
to have me
at your side
again.

I am
made of gold,
beautiful beyond
belief and in me
you shall know
divinity.

I am the key
to whatever door
you wish to open.

I am

Silence.

Well, it was easily translated, but I like how you took on a great deal of interpretations for what silence is. It is golden, even fools when kept silent are considered wise, the key to a revelation from the divine. Perhaps, you have shown us the beauty of the written word is that it can be enjoyed, in silence.

I am a tired fool in need of rest...but thorns will give me no sleep...

That was beautiful.
Very nice work:)

At the end of my weekly yoga class, my instructor always says "And if you found any silence in this class, take it with, on into your evening and tomorrow...." this reminded me of that.

Very nice.

Silence, like fire, is a blessing and a curse. At times it may be golden, but when words need to be spoken, "silence breaks the heart." Your poem beautifully expresses the positive aspects of silence.

Wow, this is a cool way to look at silence, although, as Elaine P said, silence breaks the heart. Maybe you should do another one on that subject.

Love, loved it.

I'm speechless!
