Question:Why'd you always have to say goodbye
why'd you always have to make me cry

Was loving you not good enough
or was causing me pain the better stuff

I opened up and let you in
you broke my heart over and over again

I took you back time after time
saying no never crossed my mind

I hated the games you always played
makes me wonder why i stayed

Maybe because i hoped you changed
but every time always ended the same

I'm letting go and saying my goodbye's
now there's no more tears in my eyes

The seconds,minutes,hours,and days
are slowly but surely fading away

I've held on for far too long
now we've reached the end of our song

Its okay. I'm not much for rhyming poetry but it seems good.
I would however change "over and over again" to " again and again"
