Position:Home>Poetry> A Spring poem. Any comments???

Question:Ah-h-h! (choo) It’s Spring

Trees in blossom
Make me sneeze.
With every incoming
Gentle breeze

Spring comes alive
And so do allergies.
Lovely to look at, but
From a distance. For me

Mother Nature's beauty
is better viewed from afar,
In pictures on the internet or
From the window of my car.

Fortunately I'm not afflicted
with allergies so mourned and damned,
what I hate are the sudden storms,
when by the rain, I'm slammed.

Sorry you have to enjoy your spring from indoors. I'll de-polinize a batch of spring air and send it your way. Beautiful poem, and humorous too.

Oh, my! Do I relate to that! Stocking up on tissue (achoo) as I write! Good 'un.

We've had some funny poems here today. This is one of the best. Fortunately, Mom Nature and I get along pretty well most of the time.

AAH,AAH,AAH,AAH False alarm. I just got over a cold.
I like your poem.

You have a beautiful poem
and it is true
any allerigies comes
the ahhchoos

Spring comes alive
when the grass and trees
become green

Mother nature has much beauty
indeed depending on what it is
if its near or far.

I have seen some of this already
like the snow melting
soon no coats will have to worn

Like last year I will be able
to sit either in a park or playground
and write my poetry

I honestly feel for you. God himself gave us the beauty and smells of any season, and for you not to be able to enjoy that because of allergies has got to be hard. I do not envy, but at least you can see them, and every now and then brave the allergy season and stop and smell the roses.

i relate, allergies are such a pain, they keep me away from nature which i do so hate!
