Position:Home>Poetry> Against all odds, the Siren will play her tune... but will you hear her?

Question:Fear of frustration molds the heart
I can step away but something binds me to the bed
A soft and gentle Whisper
I never could resist those lips
Falling deep I turn my eyes from the sky
To your arms
Mothers’ bosom
Earth
Can be held in you
And I would never hold you back from me

This is a beautiful glance into the heart of the Siren of Dark Waters. The metaphors that you put in here, beautiful, secret, Whispers. Who is to say, with words not spoken over cord or over verse, will you hear me tonight? I love the line, "Falling deep I turn my eyes from the sky?"
When evening comes, will you dive into an icy blue sea...
will you see me?

Wow...
Did you write that?
Whatever it is, I love it.

I hear the song
of the Siren
and ask that
she would
never sing
that damning song
for me.

My heart is not
strong enough,
please hold me back
from you.

Earth is our present obsession... but that is not a bad thing!

It's short, combines the land of fantasy with the world of reality (damnable thing!) and it caries a point as sharp as the X of Swords... I bow to you now!
