the meaning of poetry usually eludes my over-simplified mind. your choice in words...wow!!! It is a fitting tribute to the jobless, god-cursed slob.

Yes I do agree,TD, and I must say this is the most impressive, descriptive poem regarding what's happening to the good users of Yahoo! Answers I've ever seen. Some very good friends of mine are being targeted right now...I've been there, and will probably be again.

Mother raised me to 'be a lady'...but (admittedly) there are times when...I tend to forget her admonitions.

Let's go Trolling

Caught a troll today
snared it off the bottom
Ugly thing with squinty eyes
and a mouth shaped like an "O"

Perplexed I did ponder
maybe I should smoke it?
Perhaps fillet with lemon butter
no, I know what I'll do

Smiling, homeward bound I drove
not everyday you catch a troll!
This one's going to be a tasty treat
hopefully... the cats will eat!

Ah, but without the trolls, we would not have this wonderful verse.... Mephisto exists for great story, the trolls too, perhaps.

Still, with the sword in this hand
I split the skulls of those who have offended thee
For they as well have offended me.

Again! most excellent verse I hope they are now cursed.

That was the greatest poem ever T.D.and i am not feeling it to much around her anymore as you can say the color red and your reported anything a anytime can you get slimed by the trolls.,..Their short but they are real nasty.lol

Now, this is my kind of poem.
You go, TD...you tell 'em where to blow hard.
I can't stand those tacky trolls trolloping all over tender feelers.
What amazes me is that some of these trolls are mature (in age) adults and they are acting very much like spoiled brats.
You're poem is great. The cadence and word play is fun while at the same time telling some where to go.

Good one TD. That is why I have started posting on "Writer's Unleashed" There are no trolls, and no environment to nurture trolls. They just stay away.

Personally...I like your poetry...but that's because I have a love of "the written word" in general, and thus why I changed my major from a "Marine Biologist," to a "Journalism & English" thing...and got my degree in such...

Just "block" and/or ignore any troll you encounter...

Thank you TD for pointing out that many smart people have left this site and this site is all the poorer for it. I don't have too far to go to Level 7 (my second L-7 btw), and for the sheer hell of it, I would like to get there. And I will seriously think about retiring thereafter unless we get some fresh blood with a modicum of acumen back in here. Fecking no life bottom dwelling scum sucking leech trolls. But perhaps we give them too much credit by even recognizing such pond algae. Screw them.

I think that there are many people here who are excellent poets. Some need work but there are some who are genuinely good. If trolls want to scare them away they can block them out can't they? I never report anyone unless I see an outright disregard for others and really I haven't done it at all here. So Troll, troll with their goal

Well I think the poem very interesting. However, I will not be run off by anyone. I only leave when I want to. And I have enjoyed writing and sharing here to much to leave. I might not be writing a lot at the moment but I will again soon. I promise.

Some people are so powerless, they need to use a site like this to feel a sense of being. They're bullies and cowards who enjoy hurting others. I don't understand why Yahoo can't track these slimy creatures and eliminate them from the site forever.
