AH! I love the trend of spring poetry. Winter is finally over, grass is growing, and yes, Mother Nature needs a haircut. What a fun, cheery view to put on this. I love the trick of the rhyme in the first stanza, coming, going, mowing, blowing...I'm giddy... its delicious! "Nature's first haircut," a beautiful metaphor and a lovely poem as well. A land scapers ode to nature? You must live in the ritzy area of town! An excellent "scalp" on a rite of spring. Hair cuts needed here, do they do silver lace, I wonder... if they're not too expensive... great poem! Brown fall leafs caught in bushes embedded in sprigs of greening grass fallen branches from winter's storm yet to gather to form a pile and still I sit and watch the mess hoping the elfs will mow my grass! That's the way it is looking here in No. In. Enjoyed your view better! |
