Question:What do you think? Not much effort really but here goes

Revenge

Revenge is a word used in stories of woe
Revenge is where we all seem to go
Who would have thought that we'd stoop so low?
Revenge

Revenge is the name of the lost eighth sin
Revenge is where newcomers begin
They never knew thats where we've been

Intriguing. I must admire your thoughts and I would like to see more, because your central thesis is captivating. Especially the line "Revenge is the name of the lost eighth sin." I'd have to say I'd agree with you on that one. Nice work.

It's OK until the last two lines. They don't make sense.

Not much effort indeed. Did the words just slide out from the big puddle of ink that was your theoretical inspiration. I don't like this at all, vengeance is the subject of too much poetry and frankly, I'm getting tired of the blatant insipidity of it all. Actually, the lost eigth sin is ignorance, and I am afraid that you, my dear, are overburned with it.
