Bent fork
Moon not out, sun never arrived:

The words I say aren't the words I mean.

I stumble over flat surfaces
Spill hot coffee on myself
And wonder, angrily
If Tuesday will be any more fun.

Tuesday, hopefully, will be better. Honestly, and this is a compliment, I got a picture of Jim Davis' Garfield rising up in bed and shouting "HERE I AM, MONDAY, DO YOUR WORST!" To, of course, receive a pie in the face. Hope you have better luck. Blessed Be, on this Monday.

Nice poem...I can feel it. Sounds like my Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday...etc. I'll bet Tuesday will be more fun for you.

Isn't that the description of all Monday mornings? The morning may be bad, but the poem is very good.

Quite abstract... filled with woe and ailment. It is dark outside so the sun is not showing, and yet the moon won't show it's face either... So you are encased in darkness; What you say isn't what you mean, and not necessarily what those with ears perceive... You stumble, when there is no ground to stumble upon, and through the light of all this bitternes... there is still hope of a better tomarrow...

Good Morning to you
I can see you didn't sleep well
or you hate Mondays.
After Monday will come Tuesday
and this is the truth
Mondays are the day in the week
that is slow to get back to normal
I would say Tuesday or Wednesday
you should feel better.

They call it stormy Monday but Tuesday's just as bad,
