Question:Long Lost Tequila

..and when you left
all I could see
were imprisoned
memories
but, just a few
stuck out in shards
revealing truths
of what we are
The pleasant ones
I do not know
Locked in your heart
Secrets are told
Their backs are turned
against you now
Surfaced I am
where once I drowned
Grasping such pity
for you in haste
My time well spent
I lick and chase
long lost Tequila...

I really like the imagery created by this poem. ..."memories but, just a few stuck out in shards..." is very telling. Very good poem full of feeling.
