Position:Home>Poetry> In wich line you can find the turning point (or volta) in the elizabethan sonnet

Question:Thanx

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Thanx

Usually the final couplet makes the Volta or turning point.
In certain sonnets you could argue otherwise (eg: Shakespeare 18, where the message changes in line 9)

Lines 13 and 14, the last two lines that form a rhyming couplet.
