Question:The Persevere Preserves

A lovely flavor this persevere
tart and tangy with zest of course
It seems the lady her muffins ready
is intent to spread preserves!

The lowly grape? I do think not
grapes are best consumed
Perhaps an apple sugared sweet
no, no, no, tis sauce for that

It must be cherry and tart at that
Redness meets purple pits apart
To spread such godly delights
takes a lady...Bayard her name

I'm laughing so hard, can't type! Wonderful! I'm getting out the English Muffins! (Must hide them from the elves!) Ah, my night is now perfect with persevere preserves! Shall treasure the offering!

You've got to give the ten points to your muse. I'm going to make a jam sandwich.*

*You take a piece of bread in each hand and you jam them together.

LOL - good one. For some reason, I feel like having a jam sandwich. I'll make one for you too.

I've been trying to persevere through this since yesterday. I've been laughing so much, I can scarcely preserve my sanity. This poem is filled with delicious flavor.

I liked this one, and as a result, I shall now endeavor to persevere.
