Position:Home>Poetry> Who is here in Po3ticm's cafe'?

Question:She needs to give it a name,
It's fame will surely grow...I know!
(She needs to post her hours...
in front, she has some flowers.)
And I've run out of rhyme...
it's time to hear from you!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: She needs to give it a name,
It's fame will surely grow...I know!
(She needs to post her hours...
in front, she has some flowers.)
And I've run out of rhyme...
it's time to hear from you!

I hang onto every verb
From the table in the corner
I dine on every word
Caressing syllables like a charmer

Like a true poetic sentry
I shall guard the microphone
My style flows elementary
So dear Watson set the tone

You must...I mean must, persevere
Latin or ebonics aside
dainty delectable fancies you serve
of course cherry preserves on the side!

We will have a bit of rhythm,
We'll get a little rhyme.
We'll get some pure expresso,
And while away the time.

We'll listen as Big Daddy speaks,
His words that ring so true.
And each in turn will try their hand,
To make a verse that's new,

And a welcoming sign,
come in, come in.

I often visit this cafe,
a place that fills my heart,
I try to visit every day
and hope we'll never part.

A cup of tea please miss,
oh and without milk.
I'm sorry madam we are out of milk,
would you like it without cream?

There will be a special table for Baryard and friends
We'll all stay until the last poem ends.
Our nerves will be fried from all the caffeine
In the morning we'll be, nasty and mean.

Robert, Elaine and Marguerite will be there to entertain,
Dondi and Semper Fi Reborn will gladly do the same.
Neonman will be electric with his choice of words
Make all the rest of us, look like big turds.
