Position:Home>Poetry> My Holocaust Poem Pt. 2?

Question:They think you're useless, no one to love
The crack of the whip comes from above
Rain mixes with the blood on your back
Hatred fills the heart they lack
And as they lead you through the door
You feel disgust as you witness the gore
They have not won, not just yet
Killing you without regret
Find a way to stand up tall
I'll be with you through it all
God will be waiting with a place for you
And I'll be ready to join you too
Through the burning heat you feel
Offer up the pain, you'll heal
Remember me in your eternity
And be who you were meant to be

I love this poem but it didn't make me feel like the holocuast I mean it did but it made me feel pain in general.... which can be good and bad but I loved it

very nice job! it really makes you feel like you experienced it

thats good.

This is excellent. It is a poem filled with imagery and, without exception, amazing flow through one of the most horrible times in history.

Well done!
