Question:The Bouncy Dog
By Philip Franklin

She was a bouncy dog, a boxer
Mad as a hatter loony as a spoon
But she came with an owner
She lifted the gloom

She was neat and petite
Looked like Doris Day
She said, ‘ Oh! I’m sorry’
When her dog got in my way

I said, ‘it is no matter’
As l gazed into her eyes
Then something odd happened
A word to the wise

She is still a bouncy dog
As mad as a hatter
I married the owner
That’s the end of the matter
