Poem.. tell me what you think?

Question:so here goes just let me know if you dont like it\\
the endless drone of precipitation
against the translucent pains of glass
time has worn in expectation
pits and valleys have come to pass
i find a way to see myself there
amidst the many distant shores
in a fictitious world that id created
each hue outlines what was not pure
i found a place for us to hide there,
a mask to veil your guile and grief
for everything we just encountered
as miserable as it was brief
i only hope your dreams are simple
and you amuse easily at this site
for twilights falling in the abbey
and weve just one chance to get it right

thanks theres 30 seconds youll never get back hope it was worth it....
