Thanks for sharing. I don't much care for slugs as they ate my prize iris bulbs!! I love to grow nasties. They are edible, I believe?

Raising slugs, nasturtiums or haikus? Only one is ugly. My compliments.

The leafy hostas with their leaves so green,
Those nasty slugs are on the scene.
The beer they love, they all get high
And go and find a place to die.

If a gourmet cook is your goal,
Add Trapaeolum to your salad bowl.
Your guest will lift their mugs with cheer
Drinking all that left-over beer.

I can just see you poking them off with a stick with a distasteful look on your face. It is quite often I pop a leaf into my mouth and savour its peppery taste.
