Position:Home>Poetry> My new poem - Two songs - memory, what do yuo think?

Question:Two songs – memory.

There does exist two songs, where my heart belongs;
No matter where I stand, my mind does withstand.
Whatever I may be doing, even if I were canoeing;
As soon as I hear either song, I hear a great big gong.
My skin starts to tingle, I no longer feel like I could mingle;
Memories of where they were played come rushing back within.

It was seven years ago, when my granddad did go;
The evil cancer curse grabbed a hold and did its worse;
Left my Nan heartbroken and the rest were all unspoken.
He picked his songs to say goodbye and made all who cared cry;
I will always have my memories, no need to keep as diaries;
They will always live on where they belong deep inside of me.

The next verse follows as it wont let me type it all in I think they have changed the amount you can write in a question.
