Caught a troll today
snared it off the bottom
Ugly thing with squinty eyes
and a mouth shaped like an "O"

Perplexed I did ponder
maybe I should smoke it?
Perhaps fillet with lemon butter
no, I know what I'll do

Smiling, homeward bound I drove
not everyday you catch a troll!
This one's going to be a tasty treat
hopefully... the cats will eat!

Oh, goody! Good for you! I am working on an Elvin trap, what did you use for bait? Am trying blueberry muffins (hear they work).

Very creative and I enjoyed it. I thought stanza 2 lost the rhythym a little, but it is still very good..By the way...Don't eat troll, not even the cats will.

Be careful, you can get troll poisoning. Better to dispose of them in a garbage dump.
