Question:From the (not quite finished) card deck, a Major Arcana

WHEEL OF FORTUNE*

I breathe for the
first time,
or so it seems.
My hands are empty,
as never before--
but my heart is light,
my lips sing songs
of randomness creation!

For the first time,
I have control of nothing.

I've never known
such peace.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE*

It is like being born. Something - I know not what - was holding you down, suffocating you. Letting go gives you a whole new life. The poem itself is typical of your (almost always) superb work, saying so much in so few words.
HOWEVER, NEVERTHELESS, AND NOT WITHSTANDING - you have committed an egregious faux pas. There appears, after the title an asterisk. Common usage for this symbol is that it indicates an explanatory referent - usually found at the bottom of the page. BUT SUCH A ONE CANNOT BE FOUND! Either there is some esoteric hidden meaning to this, or you just neglected to include it. [I shall ask Major Arcana about this, I know his commanding officer, General Nollidge.] In the past I have been rather lenient regarding such malfeasance. But unless you can offer a cogent explanation in your defense, HEADS WILL ROLL.

Letting it all go!!! What a relief it is. No more worries just life..... Ahhhhh

What irony, to feel peace by eliminating the need for control. I should try it. This is a beautiful poem, as usual.

WOW! great job! I cant stop reading it. :D

I like this one.
Nice work:)

I thought you said it was done but I m pleasantly surprised at more to come. *Le-Smile*

Oh, you're a Buddist. Good.

You're letting go,
Evadne Terra,
of life, of love,
of what?

May I ask to see what lies
behind blue eyes that cannot cry?
Where this peace,
from resolution
or from the graveyard's
dirt?

Complete stress relief. Can it ever be achieved?

Very nice. TD

Nothing to control, nor care to, a feeling of total relaxation is what I envision in this piece, and I like it.

The sense of serenity you achieve with your lovely words is compelling and makes me want to read this poem over and over again. As usual, you have written the most beautiful of poems to delight all of us with your knowledge and understanding of the cards. Thank you.

May be serenity but one could argue that magical moment of love also. Very nice.

"For the first time I have control of nothing I've never known such peace" Hmm that is an interesting thought coming from you. You seem to prefer to be in control of things...But I guess i can understand how good it feels to just "let it go"

does luck get any luckier?
sure does.

Yes, it flows naturally - (ignorant me what is Major Arcana?)
and has something to say, and then you say it.

I prefer it with the word 'creation' left out.
