Position:Home>Poetry> A Teenage Room?

Question:My room is like a rubbish dump
the piles they are high
my sisters they are scared of it
and all i do is sigh.

Cockroaches as big as rats
the stench of rotting pears
Oh, no my alarm it goes off
where is it here or there?

My mother sends a search team
funny looking fellows
they're covered from top to tail
in bands of black and yellow.

The sounds of whooping sirens
fill my aching head
with the flashing orange lights
they fill my heart with dread.

"All right I get the hint mother,
this room it shall be clean.
The Rads are not high enough
for me to be quarantined!"

AWESOME I LOVE IT!!!

Not a masterpiece, but humorous poems are not my place to critique.

Thanks for the smile :)
