I wish ???

Question:what do you guys think about my poem, does anyone else ever think this way!?

I Wish
I wish could get back my innocence
Go back to the times when life
Was simple and everyone was happy
When fields of corn just begged to be run through
And eating your vegetables and going to bed was
Your biggest problems.
Time was spent running without shoes on
And lying on your back finding shapes in the clouds

I wish it was easier making friends
The good old times when asking to join a game
Made you an honorary member of a group
And got you invited to all the parties
And your parents were the ones worried about presents,
Schedules and driving arrangements.
When losing a friend meant
That you weren’t allowed in the club,
So you just joined another one.

I wish life was as care free as Saturday morning cartoons,
Cuddled up on the couch with your favourite blanket.
When you could just be yourself,
And as long as you said “please and thank you”

Yah IT WAS GREAT. I made me feel your emotion or made me think of the many times I have thought I wished I could go back to when I was a kid.

I wouldn't use it as a formal poem, I'm sure which you of course know, but a very explanatory poem that describes what I'm sure every one has or will feel at some point. It made me laugh and giggle inside =)
