Position:Home>Poetry> A poem for a very special woman in my life. I hope you like it.?Question:"war" I am the hatred, sorrow and pain, sickness, heartache, terror and rage. Feed on the hungry and punish the poor, forgiveness on Sunday is no cure for war. Some call me liar, some call me thief, some call me Satan, lord of deceit. Your soul forever a childless toy, my heart is rotten straight to the core. Welcome to war, a permanent cure, magic and mirrors, your colors are clear. Back from the dead, you've made your own bed, every lie has a cost, yours is a funeral fire. How can you sleep at the end of your day, burned, bruised and hated, you rolled the dice. I have got mine and soon you'll get yours, you'll live your life, burned, black and alone. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: "war" I am the hatred, sorrow and pain, sickness, heartache, terror and rage. I don't think this is actually written "to" the lady per se, but I think the poem was written for something that she believes in strongly. It is a very strong, heartfelt, emotional poem. One of those poems that was written in the heat of the minute. Chew the eraser off. Great pen. Thanks for sharing. Oh, I've been around a while remember? And you're welcome.
