Question:Patienlty my princess
Waits for my performance
The pain of anticipation
Provoke a person
Ususally poised
To become perplexed
Pondering when
Her prince will participate
In the playful past-time
We call Love

Shauny I love poetry. It's not something that I do for monetary gain, and or acceptance. It's my form of expression. It's my voice. You are truly exhilarating!! You run effortless circles around us all. I am constantly in awe...

I've read some of your best pieces today.

  • I really like it.
    Very nice work:)

I really like the dark speech referring to something so intimate. It is taking a moder world and placing it in the eyes of fantasy!

    Something welled up inside me
and my heart sank at the thought
that all I ever wanted would fade
    should I wake
    from fantasies snare

Wonderful work. If another poet can inspire me, I find myself being blown away. I am not inspired easily.

Well done. At least you did your own work! I can't get over the out right plagiarizing of a certain person here!

    A playful past-time
    cloaked with fear,
    upon a wall a princess
    bites her nails.

    It's not the ring
    she fears,
    but that liberating
    kiss.

Thanks for the inspiration and the beautiful words. Have a beautiful day.

It was GREAT!!! you will gain sucess doing this,my friend

    Perfectly put poetry.

    This is well written
    it talks about the pain
    of anticipation while waiting for
    the performance to be done.

    Please play politely
    Poets perplexed
    Perhaps paranoid
    Prying political pundits
    Peer pressure
    Protect private property...

So, you watching March Madness or penning sonnets on Yahoo? Take care of the home front and Tivo the game. Even a poet needs some new muse. Well done.

You do know how to put some of
    the deepest thoughts together,
    better then I do!
I myself used to write poetry, but
not as perfect as you and Temari.
    Good Luck!
