Position:Home>Poetry> Can anyone recommend a book on writing poetry?

Question:A book that will help with making lines flow, and what the types of poems are?

I am good at writing my thoughts and emotions down, but I need help with making them flow and not sound "choppy"

Or, if anyone can recommend a website, that could help too. When I was in high school, we never had poetry classes, but I have always been fascinated with it.

Ted Kooser "The poetry home repair manual", ISBN 0-8032-2769-8, published by University of Nabraska press.

Ted is an ex-poet laureate in the USA. He explains everything beatifully and knows what he is talking about it.

Available from Amazon.com at U.S.$ 11.14.

If you are not in America, they will send it to you anyway. Mine took less than a week to arrive in the UK.

It is the best 11 bucks you will spend on your craft. No really.
