Should I throw myself in Niagara Falls Is the water cold? I need to die and that is clear It's thrilling I am told What will it be like to drive up there Knowing I'm going to die? Should I be cold sober Or should I get really high? I've podered this for ages When are you actually dead? When your lungs fill with water Or when you hit your head? And do they find your body And is it all beat up? Or do you just stay under Never rising to the top? If they find my body And there's no ID Who will bury my body Will it be for free? In future generations Will my ancestors remember me As the one who commited suicide And did it dramatically? Now have lived a full life A healer not a quack But all my life is ruined And it can't come back They say don't be a coward You don't have the balls But why should I suffer When there's Niagara Falls? I really like this poem, I think it's brilliant. I love the pace and rhythm, it contrasts well with the seriousness of this theme. One or two typos but nothing that effected my enjoyment.
