Question:My Muse Hates Me.

I look...
In this blank screen,
I can see her.
My muse,
she is there,
looking back at me.
Her eyes,
her dark, shallow eyes,
they taunt me,
her tight, pursed lips,
they mock me.
Her Heart,
empty
of emotion,
devoid
of devotion.
Doesn't she care
about my plight?
I try to fight...
take flight,
to write.
In dispair...
There are words,
but they are stuck
in this muck
of grey matter
called my brain.
Wreched creature...
You're the one.
The one I blame
for this
lame,
twisted
game.
So, I wait..
for her return
feeling...
spurned,
a little burned,
AND
not knowing...
where to turn?
I look...
In this blank screen,
I can see her.
My muse,
she is there,
looking back at me.

LOL Oh Please, Hate You???!!!!!????

This was totally flippin' cool my friend, I believe you've out done yourself with this work <3

Brava!

(and it seems as if you had lots of fun in writing it flawlessly @)~>~)

Your muse does not mock you, she merely rests.

Very nice. Not nice that your muse hates you but that your words speak well. Muses have been known to take extended leaves of absences, often longer than maternity leaves, but I digress. If your words speak so well without your muse now, we can only wait in anticipation of the words when your muse returns.

This is so good and I can relate very well as my own muse is very recreant at times. I love that you have described her. I have often imagined my muse, too.But have faith in her. She will never leave as long as your heart and mind remain open.

wow

Muses are fickle and will do this. I believe they like to vacation alot.

Take the muse out of the garage
Down to the car wash
Spray off the winter salt and grime
Spritz up her insides with a squirt of lemon
Then, with a chamois, wipe her real clean...

It's very nice....meaningful and musical.....the rhymes are moving the perfect way...and the form of the poem...it looks like a thin brook, babbling by with rushing guggles and gurgles...
sweet and well done!

Its' touching. I like the stress and of that you must feel that it is great to be so stressed that so you take it out in a poem!

So talented

great poem...i liked it.. new topic... nice!

I like it!

We must have the same muse. That's probably why I've lost my TC badge. I've been feeling bereft of her presence lately.
