Position:Home>Poetry> Perhaps an odd one for a Sunday morning, but what does anyone think?

Question:Jazz

Eyes closed

Scent is as air smells like here
There is no stimulus

Palate had been cleansed
It is empty
Blank

Toe taps effortlessly
Brushing symbol
Otherwise
No movement

Cool, dead angel trumpets song
Grooves
Follows paths unseen
Evident in retrospect

Bass is thumbed
Metronome
Playful metronome

Softly
Complex piano intrudes
Is welcomed
Becomes part of the whole

The only sense fed on this day
Is aural
But this man
This man in this place
Is sated
And complete
As virtually motionless
In darkness
He rides the groove
To the birth
The birth of cool

You painted a nice picture or series of sound bites. The metronome was very busy with the flow. Well done.

It's OK, it's already Sunday afternoon where I am, and I just feel like listening to Charlie Parker now, after reading your piece. Very good.

Eh, it's pretty good.

That's Good!

beautiful

I am listening to Charlie Patton.
playing,"It won't be long."
As I answer you.

It put me back 50 years. The trouble is that I feel like I'm dating myself. [I guess I have to, no one else will go out with me.] Copacetic, man.

I think it's pretty good.
Nice work:)
