What Do You Think Of This Poem?????

Question:It's hard to live
In this cruel existance
When your own thoughts
Are like a prison
Even though dreams seem safe
I'll be forced to lay awake
But when it comes to you, my love
That's a chance that I will take
I will not let you fall
Or die
So think before you go
And never let me see you cry
I believe that you are stronger than I
Could ever hope to be
Surely this moment doesn't have to pass by
Please don't leave me
Don't say goodbye.

i think this is a pretty good poem. maybe just add some more figurative language and kind of explain why the existence is cruel....it seems the speakers other half left already. just a little confused about that. other than that i love it!
