Position:Home>Poetry> The Beauty of the Night?

Question:The cool wind blows through the trees
Letting a haunting whistle travel the land
The leaves tremble and shake on their branches
The looming sky eerily dark with night

Smaller than thought, the moon stands alone
No stars in sight to keep it company
Just the velvet black sky to adorn
While keeping watch on the still earth

The air is crisp with the smell of rain
And creatures silently scurry about the shadows
Looking for their food or their shelter
As the sun emerges the beauty of the night fades.

Your poem is also beautiful. You could have added some where descriptions about the silvery beauty of the night. I feel your poem is very imaginative.
