Position:Home>Poetry> A silly little ditty. Do you like it?

Question:*****
Christmas on Easter
by TD Euwaite

There’s a box, over there
Waiting for Miss Golden Hair
To carefully tear away the tape

She’s very sure, sure indeed
That the things inside might bleed
No cold blade for this job, only hands

Will she see, and believe
That the treasure up my sleeve
Was molded by the love of many hearts?

Yes my friend, and I think you are amazing.

Awww.....! That's really cute!
Maybe you should print it in the 2nd edition!

Amazing. Simply amazing.

Sure she will! And you're the one who made the mold.

Dare you call this a silly ditty.....I've seen dittier sillies on here...
It won't bleed if you cauterize/hemostat the sides of the open box...of hearts....heart surgeon here!!!

By all means, open carefully, no cold steel blades and no hooks, do not fold, spindle, or mutilate. This will be a special thing for sure. There are many hearts bound inside that box.

Yes indeed .....Fragile Open with care
