Or so I believed and thought
Redundant dreams
Diminished and ended as nought

So I made up my mind
Enquired and sought
Not knowing if God would hear my thoughts
Doing what I thought was best

Made me a fool and my life a mess
Each time I looked around

Angels where nowhere to be found
Now I have a new hope and a prayer

Against all odds I am still here
Never again to worry about God
Giving me over to a life as a dog
Each time I ask for sign
Love reminds me Jesus is mine
