Position:Home>Poetry> Revisions please. Any suggestions?Question:CADRE OF CORRUPTORS' BLUES Rulers rule because they know no other way; they're incapable of status quo changes. Here, I sing for only those seeking freedom. My genre is this blues; my song is ageless. Our nature is to fly; we'll try even though Blue Bloods won't rest until each cagling is caught. Inspiration free flows, songs are written, for cadres of corruptors seeking followers. Historically they've won. Their drones seldom sleep; tyranny is masked but not absolute. Democracy shelters evil intentions; truth is ellusive and freedom seems real. So the song is still sung by fathers to sons. "Fly son, fly!... You must try... It's too late for me... Be free. You must try to... flee...", the fathers sing. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: CADRE OF CORRUPTORS' BLUES Rulers rule because they know no other way; they're incapable of status quo changes. Sadly, it seems very much in our nature to follow. It is that which leaves us to the whim of those human oddities who are born to lead. At times we are led to a brighter path but so often we are led into the darkness. Perhaps we should not fault the blue bloods. Perhaps we should, in fact, fault those who so readily fold out their wings for the clipping. What did you have in mind of changing? Perfect settements had never been spoken this soon in someones life. |
