Question:A tribute to a loving sister, scared little girl and a beautiful soul
(R.I.P)

As I fell a sleep on a dark and stormy night
I fell a sleep by the burning candle light
She came to me crying
Begging to tell her story
It was evil, I felt like dieing
These are the days that had no glory:
He came to her as she slept
Not carrying who she was or how much she wept
No more bright and sunny days
All washed away my the hand of his evil ways
He made her his own treasure.
Did not matter how down he felt or upset
She always brought him sickening pleasure
She marked off from her calendar every date
But with every mark all that grow was self hate
He was a wolf dressed as a sheep
Feeding off her
Stealing her innocence’s in her sleep
While little girls played with balls and dolls
Growing up she played with her own fears and tears
He helped her tie her own noose
Instead of trying to cut her loose
Images repeating in her head
I guess in her own mind she was better off dead

what a truly tragic piece...i understand that it wasn't your own sister but you managed to convey the pain as though it were. well done.
it is really quite thought provoking and emotional and devastating that it is true. our hearts and prayers go out to the all the victims and their families that have endured such a nightmare.
thumbs up and 10 out of 10 on this one

that's very moving,a great tribute to your sister xxx

Wow i think this is the most greatest poem ever and a great tribute to her sister .you did a fantastic job and i am still weeping and will be for a while. This is a tribute to to all that have endured molestation and lived and for those who could not hang in this world any longer ..Thanks for writing this for a great friend you know . BRAVO for her strength .

what a wonderful tribute, your poor sister...

Its beautiful and I can feel your pain in the poem.

It's very touching.

Wow. Very strong. I am feeling sad. You captured all leading to and the tragedy. May God damn him.

I like it, 5 stars plus if I could give more.

some of us are not strong enough to make it work when someone steals our youth and innocence..........i was.
i cry for the ones who weren't.

I think it is great. You can definitely feel the emotion you put into it. I got chills...
I'm so sorry about your friends loss...

A sad but beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing.

Hello friend...your living spell-checker is now back to annoy you again! "asleep" and "dying"...
Anyway you have improved a lot in your writing, in terms of rhyming and structure. Unfortunately, i can really relate to this tragic poem. Don't ask me why...or i'll start to think that i'm better off dead too!

Your poem, although beautifully written, is very powerful and sad. What saddens me most it the astounding number of women, myself included, who have had to suffer this form of abuse from our fathers or from those who we trusted and were supposed to love us. Thank you for sharing her story despite the tragic end.

So devastating, yet ending with a kind of saddened hope.

Perhaps you do or do not know, in Greek the word for butterfly is the same word for soul.

Nice work & very noble of you to create this tribute.

thats sooo sad. but its a great tribute to your friends sister. i love it you have a talent
