Question:I’ll Wait My Turn

A patient romantic
The myth of the soul mate is slowly fading away
Constantly on display
Always watching what I say
Hoping that one day she will come my way
I’ll wait my turn
My heart still burns
Still yearns for the touch of another
Not just any other
But the soft touch of my future lover
She doesn’t know it yet, but I already love her
I’ll wait my turn
A day to day mystery that should be shaping up to be misery
I stay confident
My reputation will precede me
The day we meet, she’ll know it’s me
The hopeless romantic she has waited for
Believe me; I’m happy to wait my turn

Very profound in syntax and literary value. Nice use of alliteration and mixed-scheme rhyming!

Thanks for the contribution.
