Question:The sun shone on the golden field.
From the sun, their arms would shield.
Most could not keep up with the games’ pace.
Fear was what one team would face.

The other would swell with pride,
As their opponents confidence died.
These men knew what to expect.
These men knew how to make others’ defect.

A short and fierce glare.
Or maybe a long, hard stare.
An overconfident smile?
Maybe it would be best to wait awhile.

The other team saw this as a sign.
This was their ninety to shine.
Courage is what some players would lack.
The others saw this as the greatest comeback.

i know it's vague... it's supposed to be that way.

Not all that vague, but good.

I would suggest you work on the rhythm and meter a little bit.

I think its pretty good!

I don't call it vague. I call it incredibly bad.
