Good luck! How about dragon's breath and peppers? A dragon's breath is hot and wet. And peppers can be really red. Try something no one is going to think about. Shock them. The tense humidity hits you like a brick wall Sun bathers turning as red as blood 1st: hurricane or tornado.....2nd: fire, or a hot chili pepper, or the devilish horns...HOPE IT HELPS.... red as lady bugs backs hits you like carbon monixide- you may die! hits you like a hurricane Sun bathers turning red because of the mid-day sun like the tone. Would take out Dreading More like Wishing their vacation would never end. My personal thought. how about "hit you like a jetlag attack"? and "turning as red as my lips"? hits you with the force of a freight train..the "hits you like a" could be a little more descriptive as red as sun-ripened strawberries... you could use a little bit more descriptive words in your poem but its good |
