Overall, well done, my compliments.. I loved it really alot.I have wished a few abusers Dead also.. Hi,WOW!That is a sick one.If you want to enjoy some good poems, I have a nice website for you.It is (poemhunter.com).You can enjoy thousands of poems. Good Luck. my first thought was....pain and terror. sad but nicely described I don't know if irony really works in this poem, kind of lessens any power the work might have had, don't you think? Not sticking to the rhyme scheme you set up in the first three lines, was an interesting choice--elongating the second phrase into an eventual rhyme--but again, I think it takes power out of the work. Just my two cents, spend them only on gum if you wish. Sad but a reality for many, I have a close friend this applies to. She's in her 50's now & still a victim in so many ways. |
