Question:The Poem
Traveling The Fast Lane of Life
No stops, No Slowing, No whoops
Passing high ways and by ways in flash
Speed signs, detours and traps
Pressing on the pedestal to go faster
Swinging right and left to avoid crash
Passing small cars, big cars, vans and trucks
Approaching our final destination
And handing it to a new generation
It is the story of life

um i really like the poem. it makes sense you just gotta think deep to understand it. like is basically saying there arent any stops in life it doesnt slow down for any 1. life has many obstables that you will have to swing right and left to avoid.. the only line dont makes sens is the last two lines. they dont go wit the rest of the theme

Could use some work to become a poem by what standards exist. As far as a no rules kinda thing goes it's stops making sense in the fifth line, you may want to delete that entirely or write it differently. That's what I think.

I love this. It is so true. It is like we are paving the way for the future. Thanks for sharing this with me.
We are just whistling through.Taking in all the action and then handing over the baton.
