Question:Where do Dreams Go

Following dreams through the haze,
wondering if they are real,
they're like noodles that escape
the spoon in the soup,
the ones that slide down my chin
and disappear and I don't know where
they go.
Do they blow away in a mind wind?
Do they break in a million pieces?
If I catch one, I will tuck it tightly to my heart
and believe.

Sailboat

With sails unfurled,
the gentle caresses
of the affectionate
winds whisper,
slipping through the
waves that curl like
happy puppies against
the hull.

These rough drafts are an excellent start on two great poems. There is some very fine imagery in them....particularly "away in a mind wind" and " happy puppies against the hull". I hope you do catch your dream, tuck it tightly to your heart, and believe! Thank you.

yes they are really good poems.
i like the last one best.

I like the first one.

I love the imagery! A!

Yes! they are awesome! you used complex words, figurative language and your heart. keep up the good work and I think you can make it far. good job!!!!!!!! ;^)

I can see them in my mind. Very good!

I've never read an analogy with dreams and noodles in soup or
sailing and puppies
So original, your words are full of life...

LOVE IT
Thanks for sharing

I like the first one and love the second one. It's interesting... I had this craze with drawing noodles on forks just a couple of weeks ago. (:P)

I love them especially the first one. I think the second one needs a similie or metaphor to give it more feeling, but it's great.

There nice, but I do have some suggestions. For 'where do dreams go' I wouldn't compare them to noodles. It's a nice comparison but dreams are so much more! There amazing visions that the mind and heart create to occupy us while we sleep! They are so incredible that you should compare them to something equally incredible!
As for 'Sailboat' change puppies to something else. This poem is actually very beautiful! I love the sea and anything to do with it! But when I picture the sea or ocean I don't visualize puppies. I hope that you take my suggestions into consideration! I hope that you write more poetry! I do enjoy reading yours! Keep me updated!
