Question:Whispering wishes upon the wind,
Waiting for God to take my hand.
Take my words, my heart does send.
Sweetly, spoken, at Your command.

Please tell Sarah, I' ve come to know much!
Sparkling eyes with that winner's smile,
Make her aware of the lives she did touch!
Her short time here, for others, worthwhile.

Sarah, great-aunt-Gail, admires you so!
So bubbly and brilliant, all do say.

This poem was written in honor of Sarah whose father brutally murdered her and her sister, Amina. Sarah would have been 18 today!

I want to share something about Sarah which will tell you much about her strength, bravery and zeal to live!

The evening of thier murders, it was Sarah who called the 9-1-1 operator. She had been shot, by this time, nine times. I have read the results from the autopsies. This young girl is truly, my hero. RIP, Sarah, I love you!

Gail - Although I never knew Sarah personally, I can see her in my mind through this poem honoring her life. She and Amina are resting with our Lord, their trials and tribulations are over. They left behind a testimony of their love for people and for life that continues to speak to others. May our Lord continue to use you and your family, and the others who are forging ahead, unafraid to reveal the truth. God bless you all, and I continue to pray for you.
