Cumming is a poet, they're talking about his writting style.

They're saying that he writes about the cycles nature goes through (seasons, days and nights, years) and "rhythms" of human life.

Looking up the meaning of the word Mythic it has the meaning of "Based on or told of in traditional stories; lacking factual basis or historical validity"
I suppose basically Cummings Poems would contain mythical stories about nature and of human life. Some of his wording may represent symbolic statements, which may or may not make his poetry more challenging.
