Declare this the day
That Spring reveals it's color chart
A day when fall has put away it's brooding
Giving way to aromatic growth
Can you smell the instruments of joy?

Can we sing the song of your life?
Take pleasure in the melodic tones of life
And living
Laughing abundantly in the grasp
Of intelligent insanity
In the guise of bliss
Wearing a rose petal as a raincoat
Smiles
We deliver on this Day for Molly

Oooh...intelligent insanity! Man that grips me. I love it. Brother, your imagry, the depth of your verbiage is just as delicious as wearing a rose petal raincoat would be. Molly will be so tickled pink we may have to name another hue. A beautiful and lyrical poem that just trickles into the senses like the refreshing first sip of sparkling water on a thirt starved tongue. Brilliantly and eloquently written!

I know you wrote this one but this one is above and beyond excellence. This one jumped off the page of spring. I felt the sun shining and flowers blooming. I felt like it truly was a spring day!!!

This is a wonderful poem with such heartwarming imagery. It doesn't get much better than "laughing abundantly in the grasp...Of intelligent insanity...In the guise of bliss". Molly's Day is universally a day in the beginning of Spring so beautifully created in the words of the first stanza. I join with you in singing "the song of your (her) life" because i am so taken by your poem. Molly is very fortunate to have such a lovely tribute. Thank you
