Question:OK it's called It's too late

I won't mess with your head
or play with your heart
because I'm a real girl
and I finish what I start
I've done some bad things
that I'm not proud of
I wish I could take them back
but It's too late
Oh, I wasted my life
Its too late

It's good. But I would have gone a little longer with it. I never tell anyone that a poem is bad cuz I don't know how the person is feeling when they wrote it. Writing how you feel is something everyone can do. It really does not have to make sense to anyone but you. Good Work. :)

Not terribly interesting. And if you didn't want honest answers, you should have titled the question "How good is my poem, lie to me please."

It's far too abrupt, for one thing. The last three lines don't match the rest of the poem. The first part seems to be about "yeah, I've messed up, but it's okay because I take care of my problems." Then it ends abruptly with "Oops, it's too late. Can't do anything about it now." That's not finishing what you start. If you intend it to be ironic, you need to make it obvious.

There isn't enough substance to this one. You could lengthen it, decide exactly what it is you're trying to say, and then say it. If it's too late, then there needs to be something more than "oops, it's too late."

And honestly, if you post something here, people are going to tell you what they think. Isn't that why you posted in the first place??

Don't say they are mean. If you are looking for an honest evaluation of a literary effort this is the place. If you are looking for approval or acceptance or sympathy or whatever, go to another category, you will be able to find one that suits your needs.
