Position:Home>Poetry> This poem is for Victoria, called Victoria and do you like it.?

Question:"victoria"

Now my night grows very old,
The winter's chill turns icy cold.
You know my degrees of fears.
Yet you love despite my tears.

I like awake alone at night,
Voices inside want to fight.
Every night brings forth new terror,
In every case, another bearer.

When sleep finally frees my mind,
Purple clouds and velvet lined.
A regrets I've ever had,
Fall as tears, i feel so bad.

I get so tired of this pain,
I have lost my only reign.
Time has come to make a change,
Moving on will feel so strange.

Bruised mountains of dull misery,
The weight of worlds I can't see.
Demons of what might have been,
Victoria come and let us sin.

This is my poem for Marguerite...it's called...

"She's So Cool..."

You are an inspiration,
Even to the those just starting out,
And you know what I know
That encouragement, is what it's all about...

Life is very hard for you,
As it is for all those filled with warm love
For we live a world of wolves, some good like me,
Sent to protect you and the like...we were sent from above...

You're right that his poem is a keeper...
And I quite agree...
For there's no such thing as "bad poetry,"
Only "bad critics," with whom we all disagree...

(hope you liked my "poetic answer," keep up the good work)

bravo!!ilove it!!

I think it's pretty good.
Nice work:)

i'm sure that victoria will really love it!!!!!!!! it is a very beautiful poem....but i knew it would be!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this...
It is so touching and sweet...
I dont know who Victoria is...
But she is lucky to have someone this sweet caring for her like this...
Great poem!

It's good, but there is some bad English that cannot be passed off as 'poetic licence'!
And who said poems don't have to rhyme! TRUE poetry Does have to thyme. The modern stuff, without rhyme, are simply thoughts in prose! It's NOT poetry, no matter whath the modernists say! It takes effort to write in verse, with rhyming lines, or at least a semblance of rhyme. ANYONE can write prose! Poets write in rhyme!

It`s very nice

This is a keeper!

Who said poems neede to make sense? some of mine dont make sense and others like it enough....i really liked this one bro! very nice and i never understand how you rhyme so well!

Very nice. Hope Victoria likes it. It has a good rhyming scheme, and I personally like rhyme.

Whether it rhymes or not doesn't matter much to me, but I do disagree with anyone who says there is no such thing as bad poetry. If there was no bad poetry, then there would be no good poetry. It would all be just poetry, or just not poetry. At any rate, were I victoria, I would love this poem that does rhyme, and IS good.
