Idkk.....?

Question:for my language class we are writing either a poem or short story about a certain mood.

the example she gave was for angry-
"Fists pound into my pillow as the alarm buzzer goes off, louder and louder each time. The lightening storm outside mocks my mood. I look in the mirror and see my eyes dead red, I can feel myself wanting to scream."

there is more but I don't want to type it all, thats the gist of the short story we are supposed to do. I am not at all a writer. I'm not asking for anyone to do my homework for me lol. just a sentence or two to start off with or maybe just random sentences that I can fit into my story. my mood is either "bubbly" or "nervous" you can play off either one. the key is to be a detailed as possible without using the actual word(bubbly or nervous)

In the third person:

He stubbed out his cigarette, looked at the now empty pack, sighed, and started to chew his nail.

In the first person:

I don't enjoy doing it, but at least chewing on my nail gives me something to do. It takes my mind off things. The ring finger is the only one with any good part to bite. The others are down to the quick, it seems. One of them is actually bleeding.
