I changed my last poem. What about now?

Question:If a picture could say a thousand words
mine would say that, "I love you"
When you went away, my heart broke through
and through.
If I could send you a picture now
within that frame I'd be,
so you would hold me close
in your mind eternally.

I think it's pretty good.
The only thing I would change would be the line...When you went away....

I think your poem is great. I also don't agree with the whole "don't change your poem" I do it all the time. but other than that great poem and great choise of words. :)
