Question Home

Position:Home>Poetry> This is for Marilyn. I still love you and always will. How is this.?

Question:"pleading"

Somber and prophetic,
the dim, pathetic light.
No sun to shine at all today,
upon my fields of ruin.

I can never evade,
the rawness from inside.
My supplication now,
no one will ever hear.

Crushed, into the shadows bare,
there is no more retreat.
No where else there is to turn,
I take my place in hell.

The water cold and sweet,
will swallow you like me.
Away from all thats good,
Like in a fading dream.

Hazily, I remember,
Behind my bright green eyes.
The fire we had together,
put out by hidden walls.

I know these wounds will never heal,
My emotions torn apart.
My only wish for silent peace,
And the courage to carry on.

I don't even think you need to even ask how is this haha, we already know if it's written by you it's going to be good.

Awe-inspiring poem!

I am swooning, I wish I was Marilyn

damn good, standing ovation.

only because of her family you are part....as long as you both love each other then nothing else matters

Perhaps you could start anew and be together again.

I don't understand the poem so much, but I can say that you are really in love with this girl (I have read old poems from you and her name appeared numerous of times). Wish I was her too. Rare combination of something so morbid with a declaration of love to her. But the good thing is that you put it not so dark and I like it. Thanks for share this, Dark Prince!
