Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: locate 5 websites you feel address the life works and relationships with plath. list them briefly and explain why you found them beneficial to better knowing the poet and understanding of relationships

The trick is to find websites that focus on totally different aspects. So okay, say, two websites talk about her life, and how she went to Smith College, and killed herself, blah blah. Find another that ONLY addresses her poetry, and the meaning behind her work. What do her poems mean? Find another that talks about her relationships.

This page has an entire online essays section (link on left side) that has critical essays on the the influence her work had on other writers, on how her work fit into the women's movement, on allusions to motherhood in her poetry, etc. It also has the Birthday Letters collection published by her husband, Ted Hughes.

Other websites would offer different perspectives. Perhaps just a straight interpretation/meaning of The Bell Jar, for example. Or another might provide a biography opf her life. You're supposed to combine these all together (probably just pieces you get from each one, that are unique) to get a holistic picture of who she was, and how her work influenced others, feminism, the women's movement, how you can see her depression progress, etc., etc., etc.

you don't make other people do your homework for you. do the work yourself and get an A!

You're very demanding! Do your own homework and learn to use the word PLEASE.

This looks quite good. It has all the usual biographical stuff, but whoever runs it has taken the trouble to assemble a photo album of places importatant to Plath's life, and arranged them in date order.
